MOST DANGEROUS TIME TO DRIVE

Thank God it's Friday!.....Why are we thanking God for Friday?.....it is because Friday is the last working day of the week. The slogan has become a popular statement in our society as it is believe that weekend is a time when one can have enough rest after the bustling and hustling of the week. To some, their weekend is meant for social engagements and activities while some believe it is a time to exhibit all the leisure and pleasures they've denied themselves since the beginning of the week - clubbing, drinking, cruising or travel around the town.
If at all we must do all that sorts....I will like you to pay attention to the info-graphic below before embarking on your weekend jolly cruise.

The sad reality is that thousands of people get injured or die in the country every year while they’re on the road. Although it’s true that cars today are safer than ever, we’re still far away from making most of our roads truly safe for everyone here in Nigeria.
There are many ways you can make traveling safer for you and your loved ones, starting with knowing when to drive, the “Most Dangerous Times to Drive” and learn when it’s best to hit the road!. I took a survey of car crashes in some of the road within Lagos metropolis - Ikorodu Road, 3rd Mainland and Lagos Ibadan axis e.t.c. majority of the crashes recorded happen during the night & odd hours i.e. between 11pm and 3am.

Driving during these time of the day is very risky especially if one is not too familiar with the road network, designs and conditions. These are one of the things that lead to accident on the road during those periods. It will saves us more than good if we can curtail the habit of speed management whenever we are driving at odd hours and ensure we are not carried away with absence as controllable speed can saves us from unforeseen circumstances that may lead to accidents.

In addition to the information explained above, I will appreciate you take a proper assessment of your vehicle before you embark on that travel this weekend, even if you are the type that drive with a controllable speed, your vehicle is a device that runs on several system. Preventive maintenance & assessment of your car will save you and your love one from vehicle breakdown in an helpless situation or  environment that is prone to robbery.
I will like to say once again....
''THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY, ENJOY WEEKEND AND DRIVE SAFELY!!!''
